Accreditation

Although you will receive a quality education in Bible classes, leadership and life skills, North Coast Church has chosen not to issue degrees or pursue accreditation. This allows us to remain free of any restrictions from the state or accreditation boards on the program or the curriculum.

COLLEGE ENROLLMENT

Although enrollment in an accredited college or university is not mandatory, it will be strongly encouraged. It is our desire to prepare you for life and ministry, while making significant progress towards your college education without the burden of debt. The Director of the School of Ministry will have resources, program information, cost estimates, and the name of a contact person available for those candidates who wish to concurrently enroll in local colleges or universities. If you are enrolled in a college, your personal “Academic Planning Sheet” or “Student Education Plan” will need to be submitted to the School of Ministry as well, so that we can provide any support and coaching, as needed, as you progress through your academic career.

PROGRAM COMPLETION

It is our intention that the School of Ministry students will be prepared to lead in ministry. It is our desire that you will have a clear direction of what your calling is, and how you want to serve in God’s kingdom. Through experiences in ministry, participation in life skill and leadership classes, and the exposure to basic Bible classes, you will be equipped and empowered to become a Christian leader wherever God leads you.

Upon completion of the program, you will be issued a Certificate of Completion from the North Coast School of Ministry. Although you will not receive a degree or diploma from us, participation in our program will provide you with many rewards. Due to the respected reputation of North Coast Church as one of the top influential churches in the nation, completion of the School of Ministry program will give you a distinct advantage when you apply for a position in ministry. North Coast Church is widely respected for producing high quality employees, and many churches nationwide participate in our training programs. In addition, having the opportunity to train at a multi-site church provides a unique background experience that will look great on your resume!
